工程力学专业培养方案

一、培养目标及要求

本专业培养学生具有一定的工程知识,宽广的力学专业知识,具备工程结构分析软件的应用和开发能力,掌握现代力学实验与测试技术的复合型力学人才。培养的学生能够在机械、土木、航空航天、材料、能源、交通、造船、水利、化工等工程领域从事科学研究、科技创新与工程设计工作,也可担任高等院校力学教师。

二、学制、毕业基本要求及学位授予

1、本科基本学制4年,弹性学习年限3-6年,按照学分制管理。

2、工程力学专业学生毕业最低学分数为173学分,各类别要求学分数如下表:

Engineering Mechanics

I. Objectives and Requirements

This program aims at the cultivation of interdisciplinary professionals with academic background in engineering and mechanics, capability for the application and development of engineering structural analytical software, and a mastery of the expertise for modern mechanical experimentation and testing technology. The graduates will be qualified for scientific research, science and technology innovation, engineering design in industries like machine-building, civil engineering, building materials, energy, transportation, aerospace, ship-building, water conservancy and chemical engineering, as well as teaching in institutions of higher learning.

II. Length of Schooling, Graduation Requirements, and Degree Awarded

1. The length of schooling is usually 4, but flexibly 3-6 years based on the credit system.

The general courses consist of two parts: university general education courses (46 credits), and disciplinary education courses (27.5 credits for Group A and 36 credits for Group B). The former is to be fulfilled in accordance with “The Implementation Scheme of the General Education Courses of Hunan University”, and Group A of the latter with “The Implementation Scheme of the Disciplinary General Education Courses of Hunan University for Science (Group A)”.
